Easy DIY Machete Makeover with Celtic blade etching and carved basket weave wood handles. In this how-to knife making video we take a forty year old rusty machete with broken plastic handles and transform it into a celtic themed blade. We used a dremel grinder to carve a basket weave design into walnut scales or handles and metal etched a Celtic design onto the blade with a 12 volt batter charger. This is an Easy DIY knife making project and the handle or blade etching techniques could be used on a variety of knife making projects.
