To start, we used 13 2x4s and carefully stripped them down to 2.4 inches wide using a table saw. Each board was then cut to 61 inches in length. By using pipe clamps, we securely clamped all the boards together. With an angle grinder and a variety of wheels, we skillfully ground and polished the waves, adding a dynamic touch to the flag.

To ensure durability and stability, we drilled holes in each board and screwed them together. Each board was stained to enhance its natural beauty, and then meticulously glued and screwed into place. For the stars, we used self-adhesive vinyl, easily spray painting the union (blue area) and peeling off each star to expose the stunning wood grain beneath.
