For a smooth finish, we incorporated an oscillating sander with 80, 120, and 220-grit sandpaper. To achieve the iconic stars and union, you can opt for vinyl self-adhesive stars or use a Union Star Template available on ETSY. Navy Blue spray paint was used to enhance the union, followed by a clear high gloss lacquer to protect and preserve the finished flag.
