In this short how-to video Dan Berg from www.Bergknifemaking.com gives an overview of how he made these sea turtle themed chef knife scales or handles. Dan used totalboat thick set resin combined with blue and green dye cast to create the base layer. After drying he added sea turtle silhouettes cut from self adhesive viny, finally a clear layer was poured to finish off the scales.
