As someone with a bad astigmatism, this scope has been a game-changer for me. The etched reticle is much more effective than red dots for my vision.
Despite its reasonable cost, the Primary Arms SLX 1-6x24 SFP Rifle Scope Gen III - Illuminated ACSS-5.56/5.45/.308 has exceeded my expectations. The glass is crisp and clear, and the reticle setup is exceptional.
After zeroing in this scope, I was able to achieve a 1.5" group at 100 yards, which is no small feat for someone with 60-year-old eyes.
The specs of this scope are impressive - I mounted it to my Geissele 16" "Super Duty" via Aerolite 30 mm Ultralight mount, Primary Arms 1-6x24 Throw Lever and Magpul Bipod using Remmington Green Dot .556 ammo.
Overall, the Primary Arms SLX 1-6x24 SFP Rifle Scope Gen III - Illuminated ACSS-5.56/5.45/.308 is a great LPVO for the money. The quality of the materials and the glass, coupled with its ACSS reticle, make it a winner in my book.
Ive been impressed with the speed and ease of acquiring targets with the ACSS reticle. It performs so well that even Trijicon uses it in their latest ACOG.
One of the things I appreciate most about this scope is that its illuminated reticle doesnt wash out in bright light, and if the battery dies, you can still engage because the reticle is etched on the lens.
In conclusion, if youre in the market for a high-quality, affordable LPVO, you should definitely consider the Primary Arms SLX 1-6x24 SFP Rifle Scope Gen III - Illuminated ACSS-5.56/5.45/.308.
It exceeded my expectations, and it may just do the same for you.
