Meet the infamous Jeremy MacKenzie. I say infamous, because this 14+ year Canadian Army Combat Veteran, who had no criminal record, had never been charged and had never been arrested in his life, became a ‘person of interest’ to police across the country, just because people didn’t like what he was saying on his Raging Dissident podcast. This interview is a chance for Jeremy to set the record straight.

I had a chance to talk to Jeremy about his time in the Canadian Army and here about his experiences, as a young soldier, fighting in Afghanistan. We spoke about losing friends in combat and running towards the dangers, not away from it.

In some ways, Jeremy’s experience in the Army was what shaped his outlook on life and how he used his podcast, Raging Dissident, as an outlet to talk about important Canadian issues.
