"ALL WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACIST. EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. And I CAN PROVE IT..."
Two years ago, I actually believed nonsense rhetoric like the one you just read. But since then, I have gone from marching with black lives matter, making angry black lives matter videos, graduating from the Clinton School of public service, and meeting President Bill Clinton, to having a complete change in my political perspective. During this two-year period, I spent a lot of time confused about a lot of things so when confused, I do what I have always done; I ask questions…; Some of them being uncomfortable questions.

Why do so many white people not understand that systemic racism and the generational psychology and ramification of slavery are real things? Why do so many white people and conservatives ignore racism and pretend like it doesn’t exist at all? Or at the very least it having an impact on some people’s quality of life?

Why do so many liberals blame EVERYTHING on racism, sexism, the patriarchy, and all the other isms? Why do so many black Americans ignore words like accountability and self-improvement and pretend like they don’t exist?

Conservatives never talk about Martin Luther King or Malcolm X and Liberals never talk about Thomas Sowell. And I want to know why that is…

Here’s my journey on how I went from the far left, to the right, and to the not-so-common ground between the two.
