Ok, one more day of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This park is huge and split up into three separate areas. You need at least three days to explore this National Park. Today we drove out to the Elkhorn Ranch sector which is a little more than an hour drive from our campsite in Medora in a very remote area. Elkhorn Ranch was Teddy Roosevelt's that he purchased after his wife and mother died on the same day. Although none of the buildings are there today it is a beautiful and peaceful area that runs along the Little Missouri River. Afterwards we went back in to town grabbed something to eat and decided to go back to the south unit and catch the sunset.
