Allow us to introduce Richie! This big pretty gelding stands 15 hands tall and is the prime age of ten years old. Richie has his degree in ranching! He’s been used on the same ranch his entire life and has done every job there is. Richie is great to drag and doctor calves on, he’s quiet and peaceful in the heard and good to sort and ship on. He’s got an endless mount of heart and will happily work for you all day long. Richie side passes both ways to open and close gates and is the horse our little girl rides to help gather and push cattle up the alley. Richie stays 110% gentle even with substantial amounts of time off. He will never get fresh or ill in anyway. He also has impeccable ground manners and is easy to operate. He is the point and go, steady eddy type making him suitable for any level of rider. Richie stands like a complete gentleman while mounting and dismounting as well.
Richie also loads great in the trailer and stands like a rock to shoe , bathe, groom and saddle. Richie has impeccable confirmation and good bone structure. Richie will make a solid addition to your string and is even prettier in person!! Richie is a safe leisure horse who has been riden all over the palo duro canyon he crosses bridges, logs, water and/or any obstacle with ease and has even been rode in town around traffic and heavy equipment. Richie has absolutely no bad habits what’s so ever.
Richie will be the perfect fit for any one in the family. He’s easy to catch, LOVES his people and attention, and has stellar manners! Checking all the boxes doesn’t even begin to cover it!
