Squatting a £1.75m Brighton royal mansion, ducking from photographers and being in the Daily Mail.

In this video I’ll share my experiences of living in a Royal mansion LITERALLY fit for a king.
Well, actually it was brought by King Edward VII for his daughter the Duchess of Fife down in Brighton’s Kemptown.
What we hadn’t expected was, was to have crews of reporters and photographers camping outside, in which I think you can still find the Daily Mail article at https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1093457/The-1-75m-freeloaders-Squatters-King-Edward-VIIs-Brighton-mansion.html

Ironically neither the neighbours nor reports seemed to be aware of my child runaway street past claiming that we were all very polite and well-spoken and that our parents were probably doctors or architects. Oh boy if only they knew PMSL.
Ironically in the Daily Mail photos they’d got the two of us pictured that were the most working class out of the crew.

It was lovely times there it was, although the photos in the Daily Mail article aren’t exactly 100% how it was for us there. For example, there’d been a lot less furniture and no running water in the big posh upstairs bathroom. Still though, we had some great times and even held an evening where several musicians from the Brighton area performed on the grand piano that was still there.

Proud to say, we left the building in immaculate condition despite a shocking surprise mad leak the night before we were due to leave.
If I could do it all over again, I definitely would.

Peace.
