Walker Award from the Boxing Writers Association of America. He has worked with numerous world champions like Mike Rossman, Marvin Johnson, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Michael Spinks, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, and Prince Charles Williams. Also, he promoted the likes of Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Ernie Terrell, Joltin’ Jeff Chandler, and Robert “Bam Bam” Hines.
