Once upon a time there was a boy who was tasked with watching for wolves that might come attack a town and its animals, and alerting the townsfolk if he ever saw one. Often, he found it amusing to pretend as if a wolf was attacking and rouse the people for no reason. He did this often enough that people stopped responding to his cries. But one day he really did see a wolf, and ran for help as instructed; but no one came to his aid. Friends, that story is just a fairytale, but today’s corporate media are playing the same dangerous game, with prophetic and eternal consequences.
