I have to say, the Trijicon ACOG 3.5x35 Riflescope is one of the best optics I have ever used. The lens quality is fantastic and the fiber optic/tritium combination provides an illuminating reticle that cant be beat.
The fact that this scope doesnt require batteries is a huge win in my book. Not having to worry about running out of power is a game changer, especially in high-pressure situations.
Mounting the ACOG on my FAL PARA was easy thanks to the included mount. The scope is incredibly durable, and after a few trips to the range, it was clear that the optic would outlast the rifle.
The chevron and ranging stadia are straightforward to use, and once you get the hang of the Bindon Aiming Concept, shooting at close range becomes second nature.
One minor issue with the ACOG is the scuffs and scratches on the tube that I noticed after receiving two units. However, the warranty from Trijicon is fantastic, and the local company has always been more than happy to help me out.
The cost of using a flip-to-side magnifier with a dot sight can quickly add up, making the ACOG a more cost-effective option. Plus, using the carry handle iron sight channel on my FAL PARA works just as well as any magnifier.
Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about the Trijicon ACOG 3.5x35 Riflescope.
Despite the minor finish issues, the lens quality, reticle, and durability make this a wise investment for anyone looking for a top-notch optical solution for their firearm.
