An Interview With Jesus

So, this is kind of interesting because this message can go in many directions. I got the title as I was ruminating and rummaging through my thoughts as I journeyed from Paradise to Chico this morning. I was thinking about what it would be like to put Jesus in an interview situation in order to ask Him questions. You know like the Pharisees did to Him all the time, but for me, it wouldn’t be for the same purpose.
But then a better fish floated to the top of the water and it was the famous switch fish and I epiphanied away at this idea; what if it were Jesus interviewing you, me, us after you, me us died or rather as I like to put it, after you, me, us left our opportunity to get to know God and obey Him while living in the corrupt 1st edition of our body? You also see now that I have to explain why I said your body. And well I said it because in the interview, which hasn’t yet started, you might be inclined, if possible to defend your position, assuming you are not saved, by blaming others for what they did to you, that is to your spirit, soul, and/or body. Yup it might just come up that if Jesus were to ask you, why you chose not to surrender your toe-up-life for His, that you might say something like this lady did:

“Well Jesus life was so difficult… that I barely had a moment to breath, and also it was because of those weirdo Christians buzzing around my head like Bees. This is the reason I chose not to join you and your merry band of weirdo’s. I could also bring in the stories of the many abuses I had to endure over a lifetime from my physically violent husband, which kept me in fear most every day.” “And what of my drug addicted kids, raping me financially, and selling off all of my possessions just to buy more of that garbage, which as I told them it would do, killed them flatlined for the d-line, that is that, they up and died on me.” So don’t ask me “why” anything Jesus, you have no right!
