Brady began his career with the DEA in 1989 in the Salt Lake City Office. In the beginning, Brady worked on a variety of different investigations involving high-level drug trafficking organizations including methamphetamine manufacturers. From 1996 until 2011, Brady began working as a Special Agent with the DEA internationally. Brady was assigned to the Country Office in Chiang Mai Thailand and was later promoted to the Country Attaché for DEA in China. During this time, Brady worked in numerous countries primarily focusing on Asia. Some of the countries Brady worked in included Italy, Vietnam, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Laos and Burma to new a few. In 2011, Brady was transferred to Billings, Montana where he was the Resident Agent in Charge until he retired in 2013.
