Plants: Mystery for Creationists and Naturalists Alike

Plants are a paradox. Though capable of evolving at rapid rates, the fossil record shows that plants developed more slowly than animal life through most of earth's history. Indeed quite a few plants are little changed since the Paleozoic Era! This is a puzzle for both naturalistic evolution and most creationist models, but could be expected in the Christ-centered model for early Genesis.
