Republican Senator Josh Hawley has spoken out against the Biden administration's response to the child slavery crisis happening in the United States. More than 250,000 migrant children have crossed the border in the last two years, and tens of thousands have reportedly been sold into slavery in factories, working under inhumane conditions, without pay, education, or proper sustenance. Hawley denounced Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for passing the blame onto others in response to the crisis, and he also criticized the Department of Health and Human Services for absolving itself of any responsibility for it. Hawley urged the American people and leaders to demand accountability to put a stop to this unacceptable situation.
