Swim bladders from an endangered fish valued at 3 million dollars seized in Arizona

Border authorities in Arizona confiscated 242 pounds of swim bladders, valued at nearly three million dollars, on April 13th. These bladders, obtained from the endangered Totoaba fish, are sought after as an Asian cultural delicacy and are used in traditional Chinese medicine.
