Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako in Indonesia

Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako visited the city of Tangerang in Indonesia's Banten province as part of his first foreign country visit since his enthronement in 2019. Naruhito, who will be in Indonesia between 17-23 June, was welcomed by the Indonesian Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, and Indonesian officials with an official ceremony upon landing at Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
