Tibetan Prayer Flag
Tibetan prayer flags are made of five different colors and can be found in Nepal, India, and
the Tibetan Mountain areas. These flags originated in Tibet and were initially used by
soldiers to identify themselves on the battlefield. They were also used during victory
celebrations and various festivals. Buddhist monks would inscribe religious mantras in
ancient Sanskrit and Tibetan languages on these flags, aiming to spread peace, prosperity,
growth, and compassion throughout the world.
