Christianity, Islam, & the Search for Meaningful Conversation

Why is it o difficult for Christians to have a meaningful conversation with a Muslims sometime? The God of the Bible is not afraid of skeptics investigating or examining the evidence concerning the reality of His existence. However, this does not seem to be the case in Islam.
