"So what is Peter saying? What is he advising the church? that they are not to walk in the previous lust, in the previous things that they did before they were born again in Jesus Christ. We're not ignorant anymore. That was our excuse. That was my excuse back then, even though I went to Christian schools all my life. But I mean, I did whatever my parents raised me in, and it was really just my mom. And so, yeah, there was Halloween in our life. Yeah, there was Christmas in our life. Yeah, there was Easter in our life. Yeah, there was all the other holidays that I haven't bothered to mention. But at some point in time, now that I'm born again, I need to verify whether the things that I was raised in were true or not, and if they weren't, I have got to make a decision. Am I going to go with the revelation of the light of the glory of God and the knowledge of in the face of Jesus Christ, or am I going to continue walking in the ways that I did before? We all have to come to that point."
