I recently purchased the Burris Veracity 2-10x42mm Hunting Rifle Scope and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with this product. The magnification is excellent and the ballistic drop compensation (BDC) feature ensures that my shots stay true.
I feel like I got a great value for the money spent and I would definitely purchase this product again. Additionally, the scope itself is built well and feels solid in my hands.
It has a nice brush finish that looks great on my rifle and blends in well with the surroundings while hunting. This scope is exactly what I needed for my new 30-06.
It allows me to see clearly and sharply, which is particularly important when hunting for small game in less-than-ideal conditions. The clarity of the glass is fantastic and it really is a joy to use.
It even gave my high-end Vortex Razor scopes a run for their money. I am so impressed with this product that I plan on switching all of my scopes to the Burris Veracity or Burris Eliminator 4 in the future.
The 2X magnification is perfect for hunting in the woods where you need quick sight acquisition and are limited in range by the trees. On the other hand, the 10X magnification is fantastic for long-range shots, such as hitting steel plates at 500+ yards.
