The straightest shooter in American politcs: Ron Paul believes the U.S. should distance itself from Israel, saying the country is "quite capable of taking care of themselves" which is more than evident during the 6 Day War. By the US being Israel's bodyguard and henchman, we have helped destabilize the Middle East and created enemies throughout the world that were not there before. It has also prevented Israel from making peace with their neighbors, negotiating, or fighting their enemies without US interference.
