Paul longed to go to Rome, not to see the sights, but to share the Gospel with the people of Rome and to impart gifts to them. Remember though, this was not wholly his idea. Jesus told him he would go there. There were many things that got in the way. In the meantime, Paul wrote them an amazing letter. We now begin to discover why Paul’s letter to the Romans is so transformative.
