Special Counsel Jack Smith has a history of not playing fair, breaking rules and laws, and doing anything it takes for a win.

Smith also has a vendetta against Trump because, in 2017, Trump overlooked Smith for a US Attorney position in Nashville, which would have been a career promotion for him, and chose someone else. Trump knew the guy was a dirty prosecutor and there was no way he earned the job. Nevertheless, Smith has had it out for Trump since then.
