Buy to lets are dead in my opinion in 2023, and I say that reluctantly as someone who has invested for over 10 years. Now of course, context and personal situations need to be taken into consideration and theres still ways to make a BTL via BRRR worthwhile in many circumstances. But ever since I became a landlord 10 years ago, it has always felt like one hurdle or obstacle constantly put in front of landlords making life much more difficult.
