UK Housing Market In Danger (House Prices Predicted To Fall)

For the 8th consecutive month UK house prices have been falling and as I have said for a while, I still believe we will see more pain and the worst has yet to happen. Landlords are leaving, inflation is high, a recession is here and interest rates suck!

As of recently we've seen the UK housing market hold its own in times many often felt, it would crumble but if we look at the reasons behind that, we can't overlook the obvious money printing machines during the pandemic and the cheap debt that was available to the masses.

The Bank of England has also increased the base rate 12 times in a row and don't be surprised to see this happen again as rates of 5.5% which many felt would be the danger point are seemingly more likely to come into play.

So anyways what are your thoughts? Is the demand for housing due to the lack of supply merely enough to keep things going, at least from a price perspective? Or will the combination of pain points we are all being hit with in our wallets and day to day life start to take their toll. One thing for certain is, theres definitely a lot of uncertainty in the market.
