The Outsourcing of Conscience to the God-State

In a society where morality fails, a perpetual increase of legislation arises in an attempt to establish order out of chaos. For in the absence of the conscience of individuals, the powers that be frame an external conscience which must be enforced by the power of the state to be viable. However, the artificial conscience created by the state always turns into tyranny.
