Welcome to The Joe Ligato Show with your host, Dr. Joe Ligato. In this episode, we dive deep into the complex relationships between Middle Eastern countries and their interactions with both China and the United States. The economic opportunities and geopolitical dynamics at play have led these countries to carefully navigate their alliances. We start with Iran, a country that has pivoted towards the Russia-China axis due to the United States' hostility and sanctions. We explore the unique collaborations between Russia, Iran, and China as they work together to circumvent American sanctions. Next, we turn our attention to Syria, which has found itself aligned with the China camp due to the United States' attempts to topple the Syrian government. Despite historical differences, Turkey has also shifted towards the Russia-China axis as a result of the United States' interference and betrayals. Saudi Arabia, known for its close ties to the United States, has started decoupling from the petrodollar and embracing the multi-polar world, aligning itself firmly with China. Lastly, we discuss Libya, where the Western intervention and overthrow of Gaddafi have led to a tragic situation with open-air slave markets and a destabilized region. Through these examples, we uncover how Middle Eastern countries are strategically balancing their relationships with both China and the United States.
