Chapter 7 is a parenthetical pause in the seal judgments where we are given the opportunity to answer the question posed at the end of the last chapter ("who is able to stand?" - when the wrath of the Lamb is poured out). There are 2 scenes in this chapter, Scene 1: verses 1-8; We discover who these 144,000 sealed servants on earth are. Scene 2: verses 9-17; We then investigate who this heavenly innumerable company are, and where they come from.
