Citizen presents regulations proposed by the SOS Shirly Webber after AB969 passed the Senate the first time. Unbeknownst to the speaker on the very day of this recording (6/13/23) AB969 was amended in the senate to further threaten and possibly block hand tally in California completely.

AB969 is now in committee an will be voted on in the senate a second time on 6-28-23. They have added and urgency clause to fast-track this bill. All Californians who want to get rid of election machines and have the ability to hand count should contact their senator immediately: https://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/

In the meantime continue to engage local supervisors who currently still have the ability by law to govern how elections are conducted. Website referenced is here: https://sites.google.com/view/shasta-citizen-news/home
