Michigan should bring back the MI. Film Incentives Tax Program. It brought a lot of tax revenue & jobs into MI. People should support the new plan being debated in the MI. Legislature. According to the MI. Film Industry Association (MFIA) there are a few major reasons why MI. should support this. This plan is more broadly based & its a major return on investment for MI. According to Wikipedia Hollywood spent about $200 million under the old plan. Bocek supported this when he ran for the MI. St. House in 2010.
