On Wednesday, the House rejected the censuring and condemning of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who was accused of insinuating that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. Lawmakers dismissed the censure resolution against Schiff in a 225-196 vote, thwarting its passage. Although Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., introduced the resolution, it was opposed by 20 Republicans as well as two other GOP lawmakers and five Democrats who abstained.
