Guns can be misused, but in the Old West people were safer BECAUSE everyone was armed.

If such knowledge of was available to the masses, it would force a rise in the level of consciousness and understanding in the public at large. It would force society to adopt a higher level of intelligence and Spiritual Maturity.

Also, if someone was misusing that power, it would be far more recognizable to the public and the miscreants could be delt with properly.

As it is now, the vast majority of the population is vulnerable to those who do misuse such knowledge. And the fact that they do not know of or understand that such things exist, they are victimized without ever knowing what really happened.
