Hello, Conspiracy Players. On today's episode, The NY Patriot Show and CPT are graced by returning guest and walking encyclopedia: The one and only Philip Zozzaro. Of the many topics that Phil is well versed in, the story (and ultimately the murder) of Danny Casolaro is among the most intriguing. A freelance writer, Casolaro found himself in the middle of a conspiracy so vast, and with so many sprawling tentacles, that he named it The Octopus. In the midst of tying it all together, he met his bloody demise in a hotel bathtub in West Virginia where he was scheduled to meet with a promising source in the summer of 1991. With his wrists slashed a total of twelve times and all his research and documents conveniently missing, those closest to him never believed the cause of death to be suicide. But pinpointing who exactly was behind the apparent hit has been no easy task for countless researchers. As previously stated, the threads of this intricate web reach many possible culprits. Danny had been looking into events surrounding the Carter and Reagan administrations, elements of the Watergate scandal, an up and coming and nefarious software called PROMIS, the shady dealings of an international bank, and even friends of the show, the soft and lovable Bill and Hillary Clinton--just to name a few. As convoluted as this subject matter tends to be, Phil is here to shed some light on what he's learned and give us some insight on the underbelly of the proverbial Deep State. You might want to have a pen and paper ready for this one, Players, because once you start down this rabbit hole, you'll only find a network of many more to explore. As always, thanks for joining us; and if you enjoy this episode, please feel free to like, subscribe if you haven't already, and share with anyone who may not know about Danny Caslaro and The Octopus. Until next time, as NY Patriot likes to say, everyone be well! Find Phil on Twitter @vicfoster
