Replacing furniture, and clothing that you've been using for a while also helps a lot, and I mean a lot. The best way to get out of depression is to change. Change your physical and mental habits, your items, and even your environment. Go into nature, and be at more peaceful places. Change is necessary.

It doesn't require much energy to fall, but it always requires energy to rise. Don't expect to fall out of depression. You must expend energy to get out of depression.
