I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Pelican Argo 100X Sit-in Kayak. It was my first kayak and I couldnt have made a better choice. My wife and I purchased two of them and have been thrilled with their performance.
The price point is unbeatable for the quality you receive. One thing I really appreciate is the size of the cockpit. Even larger individuals can fit comfortably in it.
Its also lightweight and easy to carry, making transportation a breeze. The only downside we found was the lack of a paddle included in the purchase. However, this is a minor issue considering the excellent value we received.
My grandsons have had a blast kayaking with us and the kayaks stability makes it easy for beginners to get the hang of. Its truly a great family activity.
The delivery time was quicker than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. It arrived right to my doorstep and was ready to go. One of the best features of this kayak is its sleek design.
It not only looks great but is built to last. The construction is nearly identical to other Pelican models weve owned in the past. Although this model has fewer compartments than the others, this is to be expected at this price point.
However, the handling of the kayak and its lower hull make up for this. One issue we found was the fixed footrests with multiple pads for your feet. Despite the product description stating that they were adjustable, they are not.
Our previous model had proper adjustable footrests, so this was a disappointment. Amazon/Pelican should update the product information accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend the Pelican Argo 100X Sit-in Kayak.
Its a great purchase for beginners and seasoned kayakers alike.
