Multiple U.S. federal government departments were hit in a global cyberattack Thursday that targeted a widely used file-transfer software. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has not listed any other victims of the attack as they continue to investigate the unknown virtual assailant and remediate the situation. John Hopkins University, the University System of Georgia, and the BBC were some of the earlier victims of the hacking campaign.
