Tonight on Open Your Eye Show, Kim and Tarra have gathered a group to discuss the sale of "hard drugs" through storefront and or mobile supply distributors in Canada.
Drug addiction and overdose on substances like opiates, meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl have skyrocketed across the globe in the past few decades, including here in Canada. 2 Provinces have chosen paths to attempt to curb the rising stats in their regions. With decriminalisation and deregulation taking place, we will discuss the supply chain, as well as the effects of deregulation in BC and Alberta which have implemented very different paths.

Our panel includes:

Kelly Patricia is a natural therapy patient in Ontario. With roots in advocacy and grassroots industry, she was involved in the launch of Puffdogs Vapour lounge with her partner Michael pre legalization in Canada. Kelly is close to the issue of drug addiction, having lost family members from overdose.

Gurd Hayes has been a natural therapy advocate since 2003. Gurd began micro dosing LSD and psilocybin in 2017 for his own personal Mental Health. He says he has both witnessed and personally experienced how psychedelic medicines can be therapeutic to people dealing with mental health and other issues. His focus now is advocating for more research and helping patients gain access safely.

High Holly is Cannabis advocate, grower, infused-topical maker and patient, with a Bachelor of Honours Science with Biology and Psychology Minors, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, previously Certified in Oncology Nursing, over 10yrs experience in various Nursing fields working with patients from birth through end-of-life care.

Ajia Mae Moon has been working the grassroots industry for over a decade. Organizing events, launching magazines, and spreading the education through advocacy. Ajia has close personal ties to the plant medicine community with Three Happy Cats Entertainment in Vancouver BC

Pat Warnecke's journey began as a patient suffering from PTSD, an autoimmune disease and addictions. he found entheogenic medicines to be pivotal in his recovery experience and process. started Best Buds Society in 2015; to help patients access the help they needed.

Janine Morra has worked in the grassroots cannabis industry for many years and is currently a reporter with NOK Network. Janine has travelled the globe spreading the information about medicinal use of plant therapy, earning her the name The Cannabis Fairy. With her extensive travel through Europe as well as Mexico, she has witnessed the effects of prohibition as well as deregulation on society abroad.
