Bryce Henry garnered a doctor’s stoppage over Billy Wagner before the fourth frame of the fight could begin at BKFC 44.

Bryce Henry bested Wagner in his backyard and when giving his rundown of the bout, Henry stated, “Man, it feels great, man. I’m glad to come back and fight another opponent in their backyard. You know, my last fight was in New Orleans. I fought Brandon Shavers in his backyard, and it feels great to be back to fight somebody else in their backyard.”

In this battle of accomplished sweet science practitioners, when asked what made the difference, Henry said, “I feel like, like you said, we both had a lot of experience; but, I was the man who wanted it more. My technique was ultimately good - skills were there. I feel like I was just the better man tonight.”

Henry is concurrently active in both gloved and bare-knuckle boxing. He actually fought on a DAZN boxing card a couple of weeks before this fight in Montana.

The surging welterweight, who now is 2-0 with two stoppages in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, loves both sports but feels bare knuckle is way more electric.

In terms of where the 165-pound BKFC combatant sees himself in the future, Henry quipped, “I’m trying to get a belt in bare knuckle and in boxing. But I’m trying to get a belt here first, then go back to boxing. But I would like to do both at the same time if I can.”

In terms of what’s next, Bryce Henry wants a ranked opponent and is confident he can beat anyone put in front of him.
