Rep. Jeffries: ‘Extreme MAGA Republicans have shown us who they are this week’

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) accused what he called “MAGA Republicans” of trying to shut down the government through the appropriations process. Rep. Jeffries claimed Congressional Republicans’ economic agenda was centered on “the well-connected and their right-wing extreme ideology” instead of the well-being of Americans.
