French President Emmanuel Macron has signed into law his government’s highly unpopular pension reforms, which raise the state pension age from 62 to 64. Following the council’s ruling, protesters started fires across Paris and 112 people were arrested.

In America, the retirement age is 62, but people currently working believe they can’t retire until 66. In this episode of 360 View, Scottie Nell Hughes asks Jean Bricmont, a Belgian physicist at the University of Louvain, how inflation and government programs have impacted retirement across the globe.
