Ive been using fire starters/tumbleweeds since before you were born- in smokers, pizza ovens etc. These are the best. In the masterbuilt gravity series smoker they fit nicely into the lighting chamber - its a match made in heaven.

With only a single match this stuff lights FAST. It lights the kindling with ease and can be easily split up without having to cut it up with a knife.

This pack is pretty big! It will definitely last the whole summer, if not longer. It’s nice to have peace of mind that I can always get the fire going!
I have used many types of fire starters, but these have been at the top of the list as they burn long enough to get your fire going without having to keep watching it and adding to it.
I usually put small pieces of kindling on top of it and once it is all going, throw in a larger piece of wood. Found that purchasing the larger size of them is a great value instead of smaller boxes.

The package of starters was much bigger than I anticipated. Meaning I received a great deal for the price. I needed something to help light fires out on the rivers when I go fishing to keep the kids warm.
I was using fire starter that were "round" which made it more difficult to light and they didnt burn very "high". The square shape allows you a nice edge to apply the flame from a lighter and I was very impressed at just how quickly they ignited.
The flame height was nice and it burned for a while. I didnt even use kindling but due to the height of the flame from the fire starter and how long it burned I was able to ignite actual small pieces of wood.
These have an incredible length of shelf life which is good because there are so many in the box it will take me years to use it all up. Great product and great deal!
I bought these and used them for the first time to start the charcoals for my bbq grill. I put the coals in a mound and placed 3 Fire Starters on the coals in a triangular pattern near the bottom (see my photos).
