Ukraine stops Russia tank attack with artillery in footage from counterattack in Donetsk
A Russian attack near the city of Donetsk was stopped by Ukraine. Two armoured vehicles led by a tank charged at Ukrainian defences. But one of the vehicles was hit by artillery or a mine and stalled. Troops tried to get into the other vehicle, as the driver turned around. The working vehicle fled the battle leaving some men in the field. This battle took place close to Avdiivka, in the south of Ukraine. Russia has been trying to attack the city since winter, with little success.
