TOP Sales Question You're MISSING
This one very important question is missed by many salespeople very frequently and missing this one question makes it feel like you just asked a question to the homeowner, simply waiting for the opportunity to speak at them or sell yourself. You know that one friend. That you get on the phone with and they ask you a question and they really don't even care about hearing the answer.
All they wanna do is talk about themselves. Well, that's how our customers feel. So I want to give you an example when you might ask a homeowner, Hey, what's important to you when it comes to selecting a contractor? Many homeowners will respond with, I want to choose someone local who has a good reputation, who's gonna do great work at a fair value, and stand behind their work.
And you might respond with, oh great, you just described us. You should buy from me. And it comes across not great, but instead, we can ask this question, what else? And at this point, the homeowner will begin to reveal the deeper secrets in their true deep desires and needs to help you sell effectively to their core concerns.
