But I couldnt justify spending that much money for a similar optic for my personal rifle. The Vortex Strikefire II is a great alternative that doesnt break the bank.
It has a red dot reticle that is clear and precise, and is adjustable for both windage and elevation. The green dot option is also a nice touch for low light situations.
I appreciate that it comes with a Vortex hat too, its a nice bonus. The body of the optic is solid and durable, and has held up well against some pretty rough handling.
Mounting the optic was a breeze, it came with all the necessary hardware and tools. Once it was zeroed in, it has held its zero really well.
I like that it has both a high and low mount option, it allows for versatility depending on the type of shooting Im doing. I think this optic is a great value for the money.
Its not going to be as high end as some of the more expensive optics, but it does the job and does it well. One thing to note is that the battery life isnt as good as some other optics, but for the price point, I dont think its a deal breaker.
Overall, Im really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the Vortex Strikefire II to others looking for a solid red dot optic.
