Rep. Schiff questions Judge Aileen Cannon’s impartiality ahead of Trump classified documents case

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) told CNN Wednesday night that he was concerned with Miami Judge Aileen Cannon’s ability to impartially oversee President Donald Trump’s indictment case due to her appointment of a ‘Special Master’ to review the classified documents. Rep. Schiff called the move “unprecedented in a criminal proceeding” but acknowledged that there wasn’t a basis for the Justice Department to remove her.
