The lion of London Bridge: Roy Larner’s extraordinary story

This week I talk to Roy Larner also known as the Lion of London bridge who was involved in the London Bridge terror attacks in 2007. Roy stood up to 3 terrorists to allow others to escape from the bar they were attacking. He was stabbed 8 times and spent 12 days in hospital and nearly lost his life. Despite his bravery and massive support from the public which included petitions he was never awarded for his bravery. This is his story.
