At least 79 dead, hundreds more missing after migrant ship capsizes of Greek coast

A fishing boat carrying hundreds of migrants from Libya to Italy capsized 50 miles off the coast of Greece early Wednesday. At least 79 migrants have drowned and more than 100 people have been rescued; the coast guard reports no one on board was wearing a life vest. A European rescue-support charity said there may have been up to 750 migrants on the ship, with most of those on board believed to be men in their 20s from Egypt, Syria, and Pakistan.
